DS10FORUM.COM #002 - A Journey Through Space
A compilation of songs inspired by and based on our universe. All songs were made with the KORG DS10/DS10+, and mine comes in at #10, “Asteroid Belt.” For this compilation, I tried to capture the sounds you might hear while exploring deep space, and the energy of thousands of celestial bodies flying by in one huge collective orbit around the sun. My track is very experimental and not exactly the kind of dancefloor material I usually aim for, but I’m very proud of it… it might be my favorite of any track I’ve ever done.
Anyway, it’s hard to describe this compilation. Suffice it to say that some amazing DS10 work has been compiled here in a variety of styles. You’ll just have to give it a listen. You can stream it or download it from the archive.org page.

*funny story, the original tracklisting for the compilation only had the planets and our Sun. I had to scold the organizers for forgetting about our asteroid belt, which I believe is as much an important part of our Solar System as any planet. In the end, not all the planets received tracks, but I digress.
